Reviews for Restoran Nasi Kandar Suriani
Review highlights
Based on 68 reviewsRestoran Nasi Kandar Suriani is recognized for its diverse menu and flavorful Indian cuisine, attracting customers who appreciate the variety of choices. Common feedback highlights the quality of food as a strong point, with noticeable improvements over time based on customer observations. However, some patrons find the payment options limited to cash, expressing a desire for more convenient digital payment methods. The self-service approach for food and beverages is another recurring theme, with suggestions for a more organized system to enhance order fulfillment and overall dining efficiency. Overall, while the restaurant shows progress in addressing earlier concerns, there remains room for operational improvements to elevate the customer experience further.
The food was nice. Lots of choices. But have to pay by cash. Hopefully can pay by QR or debit card. More convenient. Self service for food and drinks. Should have a proper system so that the orders can be full fill smoothly.
Already improved a lot. Majority of my complaint in the last review already being improvised. Worthy of a praise. 5 star. Comment below the line is my previous review. _____________________________________________________ While I aim to provide a fair assessment, it is essential to address the issues encountered. Overall, I was profoundly disappointed with the experience. Food Quality: 1. Lamb Shank: The dish was completely unsatisfactory, priced at RM48 per piece but not worth it. The meat was tough with no lamb flavor, leaving a bland taste. 2. Minced Meat: The meat was hard and chewy, making it difficult to eat and getting stuck between teeth. 3. Fried Chicken: The chicken was stale and unenjoyable, resembling reheated leftovers rather than freshly cooked food. Beverages:- 1. Customer Service: It is surprising that customers are required to order and collect their drinks from the counter. Renowned establishments typically have staff taking orders at the table and delivering them. The current practice undermines the purpose of having ample staff who fail to perform basic tasks such as taking and delivering orders. Service Quality:- 1. Payment System: The establishment only accepts cash payments, with no online payment options or QR code scanning available. 2. Pricing Issues: The individual responsible for pricing at the nasi kandar counter deliberately overcharges, and when confronted, treats it as a joke. This could lead to serious conflicts and damage the establishment’s reputation. 3. Ordering System: The outdated order-taking process contrasts sharply with modern practices in Kuala Lumpur, where many similar establishments use a card system that records all customer orders, streamlining the process and enhancing customer convenience. 4. Coordination: The staff handling roti canai preparation do not assist with packaging and delivery, leading to significant delays. With the existing staff already busy and uncoordinated, it's unreasonable to expect efficient service under these conditions. Given these significant shortcomings in food quality, pricing integrity, and service efficiency, I regretfully must rate this establishment with only one star. The current standards are far below expectations.
